Beauty of a Mystery

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." - Psalm 119:105

So simple yet so true. Where God commands, we shall go. We are His.

We have been given a written word to obey. On this earth, it may lead us various ways -- some being hard laborers, some ministers, some teachers, some parents, some missionaries. Yet all of us have one path in common: the narrow path. We have one way in common: Jesus Christ.

It was surreal for me to finally arrive at NTBI, the campus on which I took this photo. To look over the city of Waukesha, to have something which I'd talked about for so long finally be realised.

There is a strange way in which God works though, yes? He brings you one way that you might see another. You follow this tiny beacon of light you have -- His word -- obeying what you can, following at your best that you might be within His will (for it is the only way you know how) And you become so captivated by His word and His providence, that tiny beacon becomes so bright to you that you think you have the full perspective! ...

And yet you have not even seen the vast and beautiful glory that awaits beyond it ...

That is the beauty of God's mysterious ways.
