A squabble I caught between a couple of gulls in Inverness, Scotland.

While we're on the topic of confrontation, I learned that there is no quicker way to get the locals angry than by feeding these apparent pests... They call them "rats with wings" and rant bitterly about how it's illegal to kill them.

PS: Seagulls don't actually explode when they eat alka-seltzer ...

Evidently, they eat garbage and, in the process, do destruction to property, injure and kill small pets, etc...

well yua they eat garbage. Because a lot of the fish they normally eat are gone. Hmm never heard of them attacking live animals. Since they prefer fish. They must be starving to do that

I don't know about that. I'm not sure what would compell them, but generally they're not starving. They're just hostile in large numbers, for some reason.

Hun I live on the coast and see them a lot, their beautiful creatures, and like all creatures something turned them mean. They are not that way naturally. Hell geese are meaner LOL
